With over 20 Years experience in the building industry and 15 as an Architectural Designer, Paul Duncan has expert knowledge of both design and detailing of residential and commercial buildings.
Paul started his career as a builder working on residential projects but was forced to retrain due to a serious injury and studied as an Architectural Draftsman at Wellington Polytechnic and graduated in 1999.
Paul worked in the early part of his career as a survey and civil Engineering draftsman. Where he worked for four years at the end of this time he started up his own Architectural design company in the Kapiti Coast, just north of Wellington.
Kapiti Architectural Design Ltd became a successful small business and in 2007 Paul decided to relocate to the North Shore of Auckland where he changed the company to North Shore Architecture and began to build up his client base in Auckland.
Paul ran North Shore Architecture until mid 2016 where he started his current company, Indokiwi Architecture, which he now runs with a view to operating both in New Zealand and in Indonesia.
During his time as an Architectural designer Paul has completed hundreds of residential projects and been involved in light commercial design completing some mid sized office buildings and apartment projects. With the main focus of his current business being on residential Re-Clad and new home design. Indokiwi Architecture is primarily an Architectural design and drafting business specializing in residential and light commercial projects. Established in Wellington in 2000 as Kapiti Architectural Design and later re-locating to the North Shore of Auckland we have completed over one thousand residential and commercial projects. Ranging from small decks and additions, to large high value residential homes and light commercial buildings. We have worked both with private clients and building development companies, and still retain many of these as ongoing clients, both in Auckland and in Wellington. Our service is not only limited nationally but we have been involved in projects as far away as Australia and China
